Why Write an eBook?

It's not true that everything that has been said has already been written. Since that unfortunate axiom came into use, the whole universe has changed. Technology has changed, ideas have changed, and the mindsets of entire nations have changed.

The fact is that this is the perfect time to write an ebook. What the publishing industry needs are people who can tap into the world as it is today - innovative thinkers who can make the leap into the new millennium and figure out how to solve old problems in a new way. Ebooks are a new and powerful tool for original thinkers with fresh ideas to disseminate information to the millions of people who are struggling to figure out how to do a plethora of different things.

Let's say you already have a brilliant idea, and the knowledge to back it up that will enable you to write an exceptional ebook. You may be sitting at your computer staring at a blank screen wondering, "Why? Why should I go through all the trouble of writing my ebook when it's so impossible to get anything published these days?

Well, let me assure you that publishing an ebook is entirely different than publishing a book in print. Let's look at the specifics of how the print and cyber publishing industry differ, and the many reasons why you should take the plunge and get your fingers tapping across those keyboards!

Submitting a print book to conventional publishing houses or to agents is similar to wearing a hair shirt 24/7. No matter how good your book actually is, or how many critique services and mentor writers have told you that "you've got what it takes," your submitted manuscript keeps coming back to you as if it is a boomerang instead of a valuable mine of information.

Perhaps, in desperation, you've checked out self-publishing and found out just how expensive a venture it can be. Most "vanity presses" require minimal print runs of at least 500 copies, and even that amount will cost you thousands of dollars. Some presses' minimal run starts at 1,000 to 2,000 copies. And that's just for the printing and binding. Add in distribution, shipping, and promotional costs and - well, you do the math. Even if you wanted to go this route, you may not have that kind of money to risk.

Let's say you already have an Internet business with a quality website and a quality product. An ebook is one of the most powerful ways to promote your business while educating people with the knowledge you already possess as a business owner of a specific product or service.

For example, let's say that you've spent the last twenty-five years growing and training bonsai trees, and now you're ready to share your knowledge and experience. An ebook is the perfect way to reach the largest audience of bonsai enthusiasts.

Ebooks will not only promote your business - they will help you make a name for yourself and your company, and establish you as an expert in your field. You may even find that you have enough to say to warrant a series of ebooks. Specific businesses are complicated and often require the different aspects to be divided in order for the reader to get the full story.

Perhaps your goals are more finely tuned in terms of the ebook scene. You may want to build a whole business around writing and publishing ebooks. Essentially, you want to start an e-business. You are thinking of setting up a website to promote and market your ebooks. Maybe you're even thinking of producing an ezine.

One of the most prevalent reasons people read ebooks is to find information about how to turn their Internet businesses into a profit-making machine. And these people are looking to the writers of ebooks to provide them with new ideas and strategies because writers of ebooks are usually people who understand the new cyberspace world we now live in. Ebook writers are experts in Internet marketing campaigns and the strategies of promoting and distributing ebooks. The cyberspace community needs its ebooks to be successful so that more and more ebooks will be written.

You may want to create affiliate programs that will also market your ebook. Affiliates can be people or businesses worldwide that will all be working to sell your ebooks. Think about this? Do you see a formula for success here?

Figure out what your subject matter is, and then narrow it down. Your goal is to aim for specificity. Research what's out there already, and try to find a void that your ebook might fill.

What about an ebook about a wedding cake business? Or an ebook about caring for elderly pets? How about the fine points of collecting ancient pottery?

You don't have to have three masters degrees to write about your subject. People need advice that is easy to read and easily understood. Parents need advice for dealing with their teenagers. College students need to learn good study skills - quickly. The possibilities are endless.

After you've writtten your ebook

Getting your ebook out is going to be your focus once you've finished writing it, just as it is with print books. People will hesitate to buy any book from an author they've never heard of. Wouldn't you?

The answer is simple: give it away! You will see profits in the form of promoting your own business and getting your name out. You will find affiliates who will ask you to place their links within your ebook, and these affiliates will in turn go out and make your name known. Almost every single famous ebook author has started out this way.

Another powerful tool to attract people to your ebook is to make it interactive. Invent something for them to do within the book rather than just producing pages that contain static text. Let your readers fill out questionnaires, forms, even crossword puzzles geared to testing their knowledge on a particular subject. Have your readers hit a link that will allow them to recommend your book to their friends and associates. Or include an actual order form so at the end of their reading journey, they can eagerly buy your product.

When people interact with books, they become a part of the world of that book. The fact is just as true for books in print as it is for ebooks.

That's why ebooks are so essential. Not only do they provide a forum for people to learn and make sense of their own thoughts, but they can also serve to promote your business at the same time.

Everyone Needs Adobe Computer Software

Adobe computer software enables you to upload documents in a PDF format.  Adobe computer software also allows you to password protect your documents.  In other words, documents that you are going to display such as forms, web site information, and other things will be password protected so that no one can change the information.  You will also find the information is secure when you send it to other individuals.  The Adobe Acrobat Reader computer software allows you to read the files and create files.

Industries that the computer software works best with include education, financial services, government, life sciences, manufacturing, and telecommunications.  You can also create the files with Adobe computer software to be manipulated by the receiver.  You will find that government forms or other business forms can be manipulated to allow you to type the information rather than hand write it without messing up the integrity of the form.  This makes the information on the forms more legible to those receiving the completed information.  You can also send it back using the PDF format.

Adobe does not just create a reader for you to use and open online documents.  Adobe also has its line of photography computer software.  This software enables the professional to manipulate their photographs and have a more professional and perfected product rather than heading to a dark room.  Adobe provides this software to anyone who needs to create photographs.  You can also create a project from the start and create a picture online with this software.  Today we see a lot of computer generated images and Adobe Photoshop is just one of the computer software programs that you can use to create these images.

Adobe computer software is a list of over twenty different products for your needs.  You will find communication tools, creative software, design and publishing, developer tools, and many more products.  They offer support for their products in case you need to have a tutorial or tech support to work the computer software properly.

If you do not wish to buy the actual installation disk, you are able to download the computer software directly from their website.  You will also find that the Adobe Acrobat Reader is available free of charge on many websites to enable you to read files properly.  When you have Adobe computer software you need to make sure it is compatible with your operating system and that you have enough storage space for the download.  You will find the specifications online or on the package.  Like most computer software companies you will find that there are new versions being created yearly.  This may mean that you will need to go to the website for Adobe before you can find the compatible software, although most of the operating systems in use today are Windows XP.

Adobe also created the Flash Player and Shockwave Player.  These different computer software programs allow you to view videos online or on your desktop.  We often find ourselves searching the Internet for videos, news, and other information so it is important to have a media player of some sort.  You can find the Flash Player or Shockwave Player online to download as well as the support in case you have trouble with the download or getting videos to play.  Adobe computer software is no longer just the Acrobat reader and Photoshop most of your business needs can be answered by heading to their website.

Are These Internet Marketing Ebooks Hogwash?

Internet Marketing as we all know it is pretty crowded with funny people making lots of huge bombastic claims over their nonsense crappy books and stuff. You might have come across ebooks making claims like "how to make $XXX in 2 weeks" or "anyone can earn money at home".

Being guilty of myself, I have literally spent gazillion amount of money into these internet marketing ebooks when I started out but only to find it later at those free-for-all ebooks directories, free membership sites or even those giveaway sites.  Though it's a sad experience to see youself spending money into something which could be downloaded somewhere over the Internet for free, there are still some good ebooks and materials which you should buy. Here are some of the guidelines which you should know of before you start your spending spree.

Don't Spend Money On Junk
Don't spend your money on something that tells you that with no experience you can make a lot of money. Typically this stuff is nothing more than trying to sell you pie in the sky. You can always learn and equipped yourself with knowledge from other free ebooks, newsletters or forums before spending your money on these ebooks.

Only Buy From The Experts Who Are Successful Themselves
The most advertised ebooks are not always the best. Good stuff will naturally come to you either by way of constant good reviews from other Internet Marketers, word of mouth, buzz from forums or discussion boards and even testimonials from the actual people who use them. Thus, you should always buy from the recognized experts who have had tons of experience under their belt and also reputable results to back up their claims.

Buy Only On What You Actually Need.
It's no point to spend your hard earned money on whatever ebooks or internet marketing materials which you come across, however good the claims are on the sales copy. Remember, good sales copy is supposed to play around the prospects' psychology behaviors into believing their actual claims. That's why professional copywriters charge tens of thousands for great sales copy because they do bring in lots of sales just by selling hype. You should only spend money on ebooks which could help you move on in your business. For example, if you feel that you are lack in copywriting skills, then you ought to buy copywriting materials from the professionals.

Taking Action Is The Best Action You Can Make.
Let's face it, how many of us who could spend a bomb in our internet marketing materials but only to find it lying around in our computer hard disk for ages? The fact is, no matter how good or how expensive or even how reputable the ebooks that you've bought, it doesn't matter until you make the first step into implementing the materials which you learn from the ebooks. If you are new to Internet Marketing, then you should only buy ebooks that will teach you step by step in setting up your Internet Marketing business. Otherwise, stay away from them.

Hardcopy VS Intangible Books
There had been discussions going on which debate just how good are those Internet Marketing books found on the bookstores compared to those on the Internet. While I couldn't agree more on some of the great Internet Marketing books you can find on the bookshelves, but in reality, most of the books I found cover only general concepts of the Internet Marketing. For example, in the business or internet marketing section of the bookstore, you might find stuff like "how to make money online" if you are looking for a book on internet marketing, but you can find a more specific ebook on the internet on "How to Get Successful Reciprocal Linking" or something like that. Both of these are related to Internet Marketing, but the latter tends to be more specific in their scope. Like what I've mentioned in the previous point, you should know what you are lack of and buy ebooks that will help you move forward in your business. If you are just starting out, internet marketing books in the bookstore will serve just as good as the newbie ebooks online.

As a conclusion, make sure you know who you can trust online before buying from them. There are lots of these self-proclaim internet Marketing Gurus who are just like the average Joe struggling to make money online. Remember, there are bunch of those great forums and discussion boards which not only you could find great pieces of information, but also the chance to pose questions as well.

Installing And Uninstalling Computer Software

Installing And Uninstalling Computer Software

Computer software has come a long way from the floppy disks we used to use where you had to tell the program to run the install and it was impossible to get rid of it once you had it loaded.  Now with the new technology we have computer software can be installed and uninstalled with ease.  All you have to do is have the CD or access to the software you are going to download.  There are three ways to install software.

First, if you have the disc you just load it into the CD drive and let the computer auto load the program.  More often, your computer will have an install wizard pop up and ask you questions about the install.  The second way you may have to install the program is by going to the Start Menu.  On the Start Menu, you will click on the run option then type in the location of the program or click browse.  Browse will usually allow you to find the CD location and open the program.  You will need to look for the setup.exe file and open it to start the download.  The third option for installing computer software is not having the disc.  Some companies will allow you to purchase the computer software directly from the Internet.  These downloads will allow you to click on the download button, click run, and have the program go through the installation wizard all without a disc. This way is one of the easiest ways to get the computer software you need downloaded.

When you are looking at uninstalling software, you will also have a couple of options.  There are programs that promise to remove software by downloading it.  This means you can get rid of programs that you never wanted on your computer like the AOL and other items computers come with when they are purchased.  This is the last option you may wish to go through.  It will actually take all information off the hard drive.  The simplest way to remove computer programs from your computer is using the program in your control panel.  Go to the Start Menu, select settings and then click on the control panel.  In the control panel, you will find an option for removing or adding programs.

When you open up the option you will just have to click on the item you want uninstalled and click on remove.  The process usually asks you to close the program and ask if you want a complete un- installation of the computer software.  The process can take several minutes or a few seconds depending on the file size.  The last option for uninstalling computer software is using the actual installation disc.  You will find that most programs have a built in uninstall program to help you remove the entire program from the computer.

You may need to uninstall programs if the installation process was not successful or if you have a new version of the computer software, you are trying to remove.  Some programs will not write over existing files with an update instead they will down load the entire program again so that you have the older version and the newer version tying up your disc space.  Programs that you do not need and that come with the computer can be removed using the “add or remove programs” in the control panel.  Be very careful with the programs you are removing.

Make sure you know what the program is and that it is not vital to the running of your computer.  If you remove something your computer needs to run by accident you may crash the entire hard drive.  When you have trouble with an installation, it may be the disc you are using is incompatible with your other software or has been damaged.  If the software you have purchased will not work, make sure to return it to the store and ask for an exchange and make sure that the program is compatible.

Some Seriously Profitable Clickbank Tips

The "buzz" about Clickbank could convince you that you can virtually fall backward into money using this service.  And while Clickbank does do all it can to make the major functions of buying and selling easy to do, it does take some savvy to know the insider tips to really make big money in this marketplace.  There is no disputing that Clickbank is the largest marketplace of its kind in the world and one of the biggest hot trends of this decade in terms of internet marketing and money making opportunities.  But success has a price which means that many of the big deals are pretty much played out and you have to go in knowing how to look for the good deals that have yet to be tapped.  So a few seriously profitable Clickbank tips can help your profitability in this big marketplace along nicely.

Your Clickbank ID is a central code you must have to put into your link.  That is the one step that must happen for money to come your way.  But you can be a bit savvy how you create that ID in the first place.  One clever way to keep your ID from broadcasting that you are a Clickbank citizen is to use a more critic ID code.  Something like research4u2 or profits2008 and excellent choices.  These have the feel of an internet business and less of one person out on Clickbank trolling for profits.

Having a website is a great step to maximize your Clickbank listings.  By adding links to Clickbank so your website visitors can go there and use the marketplace to buy your products, Clickbank can virtually replace your catalog pages and your shopping cart with a much smoother operation that is easy to keep up to date and that puts your products into a broader affiliate market with no work from you as well.  Keep in mind your niche markets addressed by your site.  You might have a wide variety of products out on Clickbank but not all of them fit with the theme of your web site.  So if your web site is devoted to musical instruments, focus the way you add links and don’t include links to products that don’t fit there.  If you have products that have no home to be promoted on any of your websites, it's easy enough to set up a new one.

If you are thinking about selecting a product as an affiliate on Clickbank and you want to promote it, you want to know that product is doing well in its home setting so you can capture some of that momentum.  So do a little research on the websites that support the products you are thinking about.  It's easy enough to run some keyword searches and to find the page rank of those web sites.  That will give you an idea if the website owner who is behind this product is putting time and money into SEO on the site which would help it generate bigger profits.

Never stop learning how to make your product listings on Clickbank more successful or how to become a successful affiliate.  Make it a private study to learn how to spot products that are on the verge of a boom of success.  This will take some intuition and some watching the market so you learn where different products, product groups or categories are going.  Like a stock market at any time some products will be surging in sales potential while others are tapering off.

It will take some dedication, creativity and even some courage to make bold moves to keep on top of your accounts and keep them profitable week to week.  But if you treat your Clickbank management as part of your larger job of becoming successful on the internet, these efforts will pay off.

Heaven For Small Business

Starting a small business has to be one of the most courageous things a person can do.  There are a lot of unknowns that can strike fear into the heart of any small business owner.  Issues of labor, supply and demand and the market always are a concern.  And even if you do all of your market studies and prepare intensively, launching that business is sometimes an act of faith.

The modern era has opened up a new frontier for small business owners and that is the internet.  But even there, risks exist and if anything the unknowns are even more exotic.   Because the online marketplace is vastly distributed, estimating the market need as well as the potential demand for a product can seem like a cryptic exercise.  In the early days of the internet, the costs of handling money and the resources to help small business succeed were few and far between and hard to use at best.   That is why by comparison the modern internet marketing world is a relative heaven for small business due in no small part to online marketplaces and resources such as Clickbank.

One of the ways Clickbank and other online merchant accounts smooth the road out a small business to get started is by making it possible to accept payments online even when you are just getting started out.  Most online purchases are done with credit card.  But, especially at first, to do business directly with credit card companies to accept payments online was a nightmare.  They required a lot of capital and proof of the health of the business both of which are in short supply when you are just starting out.

Clickbank puts all of that at your disposal for an amazingly low investment.   You can join Clickbank for a simple one time fee of $50 and a small commission on each sale.  For that they operate virtually as your online banker accepting payments, managing the credit card transactions and the relationship with the credit card companies and faithfully handling the money to be passed to you on a routine basis.  If you are selling products through Clickbank, you might have hundreds or thousands of transactions per day from just as many customers.  But all of that financial management and customer interaction is handled by Clickbank so you just offer your product and then sit back and collect the returns on your sales.

The marketplace dynamic on the internet is as different from the traditional business model as night and day.  Small business people must already be light on their feet and able to adapt to change and new things quickly in any market.  This requirement of an online entrepreneur is even more crucial.  The business model for running a business with Clickbank at the heart of what you are doing does require a massive paradigm shift in how you do business.  But most of the ways you change your approach to small business mean giving up some of the aspects of small business that you probably won't mind giving up.

For one thing, while you can always be actively involved in sales, it is entirely possible to run a healthy and very active and prosperous small business selling digital products to a huge customer base and completely give up the sales side of the business model entirely.  That is because on Clickbank, as a merchant, your primary responsibility is to put product on the market.  Once your product or products is "out there", there is an army of sales people called affiliates who are ready to pick up your product and promote it to their large existing customer base.  By army we mean that a staggering 150,000 internet marketers are on Clickbank and every one of them can sell your product if they wish.  There is no risk to you and Clickbank manages the relationships with this marketing army and the collection and distribution of their commissions.

To take advantage of this army, you will have to grant a slice of profit in the form of a commission to the affiliate as his reward for doing your sales for you.  You can consider it a business expense and even record it to deduct it as such.  But because that commission will draw this huge and highly specialized mob of internet marketing gurus to your product, that is a pretty good use of a commission.

How Autoresponders Work

How Autoresponders Work

At some point in our Internet lives, a majority of us have received a message from an autoresponder.  It could have been a short response letting you know that the individual is away, or an email thanking you for something that you have done.  Perhaps it was even an email letting you know about upcoming products, or even an email letting you know that a message you tried to send couldn’t be delivered.

Each one of these messages is all but a different version of a useful program known as an autoresponder.  Autoresponders are very useful tools, as they will automatically send out an answer to any email that they receive.  The answer that they send out however, will all depend on the messages that you have the program set up with.  Autoresponders are very flexible, and most will hold a variety of pre set messages.

The very first autoresponders were used with email providers or email transfer agents.  Whenever an email you sent out couldn’t be delivered to the recipient, it would send you an automatic response letting you know that your mail couldn’t be delivered.  Although these programs were somewhat helpful, they weren’t all that sophisticated.

Over the years, autoresponders have changed quite a bit, proving to be very useful with big companies and even Internet marketing.  These days, autoresponders are used by businesses and companies to give immediate response and feedback to interested clients and subscribers.  This could include a response about programs, information about pricing, specific details regarding a product, and even a time that someone from the company can get in touch with the client.

In the world of Internet marketing, staying in touch with clients is easier than ever with an autoresponder.  They will save you a quite a bit of time, especially when you think about how long it would take you to personally send email responses to each and every email you get.  If you run a business, you probably get hundreds of emails a day.  An autoresponder can simplify your life, by sending out a preset message response to each and every email you receive.

You can set up an autoresponder using either one or two methods – an outsourced ASP model and server side model.  When using an outsourced ASP model, the company wishing to use the autoresponder will their business model will contract through an outside provider.  This outside provider will then give the company user access to a web based system, or control panel.  From the control panel, the company or individual can set up the autoresponder, preset messages, and decide how the autoresponder will handle the many different types of emails. One of the best services we have found is www.Automatic-Responder.com their service is top notch. To use these types of services, the individual or company will have to pay the autoresponder provider a flat monthly fee.

Server side autoresponders are a bit different.  Basically, they are programs that a company or individual installs themselves and runs it on their own computer or server.  You can save money with these programs, as you don’t have to pay a provider to operate the autoresponder.  Although server side autoresponders weren’t user friendly in the beginning, they have become easier and easier to operate over the years – and are now the most popular type of autoresponder.

In all actuality, autoresponders are great to have.  They are very reliable, and can easily save you a lot of time. The way the different types work can be a bit perplexing, although most are easy to use and easy to implement into your website.  If you own or operate an online business – an autoresponder is something you should never find yourself without.

What the Heck are Botnets?

What the Heck are Botnets?

"A botnet is comparable to compulsory military service for windows boxes" - Stromberg

Botnets are networks of computers that hackers have infected and grouped together under their control to propagate viruses, send illegal spam, and carry out attacks that cause web sites to crash.

What makes botnets exceedingly bad is the difficulty in tracing them back to their creators as well as the ever-increasing use of them in extortion schemes.  How are they used in extortion schemes?  Imagine someone sending you messages to either pay up or see your web site crash. This scenario is starting to replay itself over and over again.

Botnets can consist of thousands of compromised machines. With such a large network, botnets can use Distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) as a method to cause mayhem and chaos. For example a small botnet with only 500 bots can bring corporate web sites to there knees by using the combined bandwidth of all the computers to overwhelm corporate systems and thereby cause the web site to appear offline.

Jeremy Kirk, IDG News Service on January 19, 2006, quotes Kevin Hogan, senior manager for Symantec Security Response, in his article "Botnets shrinking in size, harder to trace", Hogan says  "extortion schemes have emerged backed by the muscle of botnets, and hackers are also renting the use of armadas of computers for illegal purposes through advertisements on the Web."

One well-known technique to combat botnets is a honeypot. Honeypots help discover how attackers infiltrate systems. A Honeypot is essentially a set of resources that one intends to be compromised in order to study how the hackers break the system. Unpatched Windows 2000 or XP machines make great honeypots given the ease with which one can take over such systems.

A great site to read up on this topic more is The Honeynet Project (http://project.honeynet.org) which describes its own site's objective as "To learn the tools, tactics and motives involved in computer and network attacks, and share the lessons learned."

5 Tips For Developing A Website For Your Audience

Developing a website is important if you want to be a player in ecommerce. However, you don’t want to just develop a website any old way. Instead, you want to develop a website for your audience. When doing research online you have probably seen generalized information on how to develop a website, however it is unlikely you have found significant information on how to develop a website specifically for your audience. The following tips will be really helpful to you to develop a website just for your audience.

Tip #1 Goal

First you need a goal when you are developing a website for your audience. If you do not know what you are looking to achieve then it will be very difficult to be successful. Also, it takes a goal to drive your website where it needs to be. A goal is what allows you to develop an initial plan for your website and helps guide you in developing your website as well.

Tip #2 Audience

Your audience is very important and should be considered in conjunction with your goal when developing a website. Basically, you are developing your website for a certain audience and these are the people that will help meet your goal so this is very important to consider. Just make sure you determine who your audience is before you begin developing your website.

Tip #3 Content for Audience

Once you have determined your goal and your audience it is time to determine the content that will be used for your audience. You might not realize it, but the type of audience you are focusing on will really affect the content you use on your website. So, make sure you have your audience targeted so you know what content will work best for these individuals.

Tip #4 Update

Another important tip for developing a website for your audience is to plan when you will provide updates. This might seem like something you could consider down the road when your site needs updating, but is really not the case. You need to know when your audience will most likely be viewing your site and when they won’t so you know when to provide updates. A little bit of planning will go a long way.

Tip #5 Format

The format of your website is also a very important aspect and one that will really affect whether or not you reach your audience. Once you know who your audience is you will have no problem developing a format that will reach them. Also, your format improves your site’s message, so it is beneficial in a variety of ways.

3 Easy, Money-Making Internet Business Models

all the noise and hype on the Internet today, not many people realize that all the ideas and techniques you can find are petty much useless if you don't first understand your business model. In other words, even the most amazing Internet marketing technique will not work if you don't understand how to apply it to YOUR business.

The 3 most popular business models are:

1) Affiliate Marketing

This is perhaps the most popular one out there, since there are absolutely no barriers to entry. Almost anyone can sign-up for an affiliate program for free and start promoting the product or service on the Internet with hopes that someone will buy, giving them instant commissions. Affiliate marketers don't carry any risk, since they do not pay for the creation of the product, they do not handle customer service and they do not need any up-front investments.

When you consider that those are the top three things people want to avoid, it's no surprise that almost everyone and their neighbor promotes an affiliate program or another. In fact, if there is a single reason why the Internet today is so proliferated with ads and banners, it's because of affiliate programs.

Even though there are so many affiliate marketers out there, only 5% ever make any money and only 1% makes big money. The "Super Affiliates" do it very differently from all the other millions; therefore they earn the big checks.

2) E-book and Information Publishing

Sitting at the other end of the spectrum, e-book authors need to be more disciplined in their approach to Internet marketing.  Of course, they also need to invest more than affiliates do. While affiliates can get away trying to "get something for nothing" the same is not true for the e-book type of business.

If you're thinking about publishing and selling your own e-book online, and you think it's going to be easy, think again. You'll need to learn a lot more than affiliates are required to. You'll need to spend some amount of money getting your business up and running. However, when you do it right, the payoff in this online business model is much more rewarding.

The reason why e-book marketers and "Infopreneurs" make more money is simple; they have very, very low production and maintenance costs. Anything digital doesn't cost a single cent to be produced in millions if necessary. Whatever initial start-up costs spent can be covered by selling just a few copies of high-margin e-books, and you can even recruit an army of affiliates who are more than willing to do all the selling for you.

Of course, it's not as easy as it sounds, but the point is, when done properly, the "E-book Publishing" model is a truly profitable business.

3) Internet Based Network Marketing

I've heard many people say that the Internet and network marketing are a match made in heaven. In my opinion, though, almost 90% of people get it wrong when it comes to Internet based network marketing. People in this business usually think they're talking about network marketing, but in reality they are talking about affiliate marketing.

They try to make the Internet do all the work. They hide behind their computers and pretend everything's going great. They focus on selling more and more every month. They have systems that are so complicated only they can understand it. Well, that doesn't sound like network marketing to me!

Internet based network marketing is simple if you understand it, and are willing to put in the effort. The role of the Internet here is only to get you the names and contact details of people you can talk to, after which YOU, not a computer, has to build a relationship with these people and help them to start their own business.

For this simple purpose, it is not necessary for you to have a high-tech system and pretend that your auto responder is building relationships for you. It's not going to work. The key is to have simple systems that are duplicable, something you can teach to all those people you have built a relationship with.

E-book authors, no matter what they say, have no obligation to teach you their "Secret Strategies to Become a Millionaire” of any variations to that. The reason is simple; why tell you the absolute truth when you'll end up as their competitor? No one wants more competitors, right?

Internet based network marketing is very much the opposite of that. You HAVE to tell people EVERYTHING you know or your business will never take off. For this reason alone, I always recommend that if you're new to the online world, you need to first join an Internet based network marketing business at least to learn. Rest assured, no one will be selling you half-baked truths when their success ultimately depends on yours.

No matter which model you choose, make sure you understand the basics, and stop listening to and buying things that are not applicable to your business. Information overload can stop you before you even get started.

5 Tips For New Internet Surfers

Everyday, thousands of new surfers open their browsers for the first time, it is confusing in the beginning, but if you have some good advices in the early beginning, you can surf easier and faster with a friendly browser...

 Tip 1: Surf in security.
The first action that you will do if you are new to the net is to open your browser to surf. If you have a PC, like most of the Internet population. You will have Internet explorer installed in your computer, but it is not the best browser available on the net, and it is in fact limited. You may think that it is hard to surf on Internet.
When you will discover Mozilla Firefox, you will be even more happy to surf on Internet, for sure.
One of the first reason you should use Firefox is the integrated Firewall, which protect you against spyware and other adawares.

Tip 2: No need to tape http://www.---.com all the time.
The second reason to choose Firefox is that you save time; for instance, when you went on ebay.com yesterday, you wrote: http://www.ebay.com with Firefox, you just tape “e” in the address bar of your browser, then http://www.ebay.com will appear in the drop down menu, it's like magic, and it's fun too.

Tip 3: See all your pages in only one window.
I really love this one; you can surf in tab. That is really powerful.
For instance, with Internet Explorer, whenever you click on a link, you have 2 choice: open the page in the same window, or open it in a new window. Firefox enable you to open several pages in one window.
Let's explain: you are now looking yahoo.com, and you want to see the news, you just right click on the link, select open in a new tab, and you have now two pages in only one window. To switch between your pages, you just need to click on anyone of the page you want to look in, all that in the same window. You can open fifteen windows in one time if you want.
Better, you can bookmark(in Internet explorer, bookmark is favorites) a tab, and open it later. It is a very intelligent way of surfing. It is very efficient when you are doing some researches on a subject, on google for example.

Tip 4: All your downloads at the same place.
The fourth reason to choose Firefox is that when you download a file on your computer, sometimes, you want to open it, but you face a problem: Where did you save that file? With Firefox, just  click on tools, and then you select download, and a pop up window appear. You just scroll to find your program. It will save you time and a lot of headaches.
However, it is recommended, for the  first time, to save your download on your desktop, then after save your file in the folder you choose. You can download firefox for Free. You just type firefox in google.com and you're done.

Tip 5: Don't forget a good anti virus,
While you surf on Internet, some hijackers will attempt to damage your computer, by introducing a virus in it. If you don't take your precaution, you may loose all that is stored in your hard disk. You can download AVG, which is excellent at download.com.

There is a lot to learn when you start on Internet, but take your time. And everything will go smoothly.

If your computers are in any way connected the Internet, they are being regularly bombarded with spyware, viruses, and other malware. Here are 5 easy steps you can follow to block these programs, or at least detect and remove spyware from your firm's networks and computer systems.

What are these sneaky little programs up to?

The more benign spyware and adware simply watches the pages you visit on the web so that companies can fine-tune their marketing based on profiling. However, malicious spyware goes beyond tracking, monitoring keystrokes, capturing passwords and other functions which pose a definite security risk to your business.

Be Careful Where You Download

Unscrupulous programs often come from unscrupulous sites. If you are looking for a freeware or shareware program for a specific purpose, try searching reputable sites like tucows.com or download.com.

Actually Read the EULA

That's an End User License Agreement. It's all of the legal mumbo-jumbo in that box above the radio buttons that say "No, I do not accept" or "Yes, I accept these terms". Most people click "yes" so fast you'd think they were playing a computer game. Keep in mind that the EULA is a legal agreement you are making with the software vendor--and you may be agreeing to install spyware or allow a variety of other changes to your system. Evaluate whether it's worth it first.

Read that Pop-Up Window

Windows that pop up on websites are sometimes useful. But sometimes clicking the button or link will start to install harmful software. Like the EULA, many users will click "yes" or "ok" without stopping to read the text just to make it go away. Maybe it said "Would you like to install our spyware program?" Ok, admittedly they don't come out and say it directly, but that is all the more reason to pause and actually read those messages before you accept.

Fight Back with Antivirus Software

Viruses are just a small part of the what you need software to protect you from. Antivirus software has expanded to include fighting worms, trojans, vulnerability exploits, jokes, hoaxes and even spyware and adware. Check that your business's antivirus system will detect and block spyware. You can try a product like AdAware Pro, which will protect your system from spyware or adware in real time.

Scan Your Networks

Even with antivirus software, firewalls and other protective measures some spyware or adware may eventually make it through the network to individual computers. While a product like AdAware Pro mentioned previously will monitor your systems in real time, your business must pay licensing fees in order to install AdAware Pro system-wide. Evaluating and using the strongest solution is worth it when you consider the IT expense of fixing systems and the time lost by employees, not to mention the frustration. However, AdAware is the free alternative for personal use provided by Lavasoft, the makers of AdAware Pro. AdAware will not monitor in real time, but you can scan your system manually to detect and remove spyware. Another excellent choice is Spybot Search & Destroy, also free.

Follow these five steps and you'll proactively protect your computers from spyware and detect and remove any harmful code that does infiltrate. Take care of it today!

Why Streaming Video is Easy to Upload

Why Streaming Video is Easy to Upload

We are often compelled to use the internet for two main reasons.  These are, to either be entertained or to learn something from the information that is shared over the internet.  It is often discussed that streaming video is very easy and convenient for individuals to upload on to their websites and be viewed by others, but many people may wonder exactly why streaming video is easy to upload.  In order to understand precisely why streaming video is easy to upload, we need to look at the process that is performed when an individual is spending time trying to upload their video or video clips to their website.  An individual needs to have the video on their own hard drive, first.  Then they will be able to use a software program, of which there are many, to be able to help them upload the video.

In many instances, this entire process can be completed within a number of clicks of the mouse, but it does depend on the upload software that the individual is interested in using.  Most times, the process is very easy and uncomplicated, and this is what allows individuals to be able to offer streaming videos to individuals that are trying to receive the files.  We use websites in part to exchange different types of information, and some people are able to learn more easily with pictures or live action films as opposed to websites that do not offer the type of medium that most appeals to the individual.  We are all different, and while some people can read quickly and learn from the written word, many more people are able to understand visual material at a quicker rate.

If the process were more complicated, then it is very likely that not as many people would offer this service to the visitors of their website.  The video that is uploaded in order to be streamed is one in which the creator or host of the video does not need to go through a lot of work, but they do need to have the necessary software when it comes to the upload process.  Downloading, or having films or video clips available for being downloaded, is sometimes more complicated for website owners, but they rarely need to purchase software in order to get the clips ready to be downloaded.  By contrast, the uploaded video clip needs software but is often incredibly simple and easy.

Many people may not inherently understand this as they are going through and trying to decide which method they would like to use in order to have their videos made available to the audience of their website, and this is why it can be very vital for these people to have the information necessary about the upload process when it comes to videos and websites.  Many more people can now be aware about why streaming video is easy to upload, especially when people are trying to find the most convenient and effective way for them to post a video on their website.

How to create great video products

How to create great video products

In the last year we have seen an explosion in the online video market. Try these tips if you want to create great video products for sale on the Internet:

You'll be more successful if you show how to solve a problem. Forget about trying to impress people. Forget about trying to look good. Be natural, be yourself, and show people how you solved a problem in your own life. Then give your viewers tips for applying these lessons and strategies to their lives.

Focus on action. Always think about action-about what you want your audience to do. Then build your video around that action. As the Roman statesman Cato said, "Find the message first and the words will follow."
Failure is the result of a lack of focus. To be effective-for people to remember your message-focus on a single power point and present it as truthfully and as entertainingly as you can, rather than presenting a series of topics in a single video product.

The power of structure

Keep this basic structure in mind as you create your video product:

* Start with a powerful, attention-grabbing lead. Clearly state your theme in the first minute.
* Use smooth transitions to link one segment to another.
* Use action verbs. Change verbs in passive voice to active verbs. Keep adjectives and adverbs to a minimum.
* Give viewers a few suggestions to help them apply what they've learned to their lives.
* Be yourself. Use short words and sentences. If you're stuck and you don't know what to say next, explain it the way you would to your best friend or spouse.
* Connect with your audience. Wrap everything in human terms-make it something your next-door neighbor can relate to.
* Finish with a satisfying conclusion that reemphasizes your theme.

When you have an idea for your video, you'll know it's the right one if you can answer "yes" to each of the following questions:

* Does this need to be done? Am I the right person to do it? Can I see the world from the point of view of my audience? Can I think their thoughts?
* Can the market I'm targeting understand my video? Can I express the idea better in half the time? Antoine de Saint-Exupery said, "Perfection is attained, not when there is nothing left to add, but when there is nothing left to take away."
* Does the idea hold together from start to finish? Does it move smoothly? Does the video make sense as a whole rather than just as the sum of its parts?
* Am I willing to say what I think is true, no matter what?

Now you're ready to create a great video product. As you develop your video, keep this checklist handy at all times. It will let you know what elements in your video product need more work, and it will let you know when your video is ready to be distributed and sold on the Internet.

Creating a Custom 404 Error Page

Every web surfer has encountered the dreaded 404 page not found error message.

The generic error page is horrible to look at and it does not encourage web visitors to explore more of your site.

Imagine being able to setup a custom error message page that looked good, told the visitor what had gone wrong and then suggested some alternative links to other locations on your site, such as the home page, sitemap or even a search page.

If the visitor wanted to, they could then visit other parts of your site.

It is very easy to setup a custom 404 error page (The 404 error is the error number returned when a page or directory is not found on your site).

The easiest way to redirect visitors that encounter a 404 is to either send them to your sites home page or to your sitemap page

We do this by placing a one line of code in your websites .htaccess file

ErrorDocument 404 /sitemap.html

This would redirect all 404 error messages to the sitemap page.

The path to the page you want to display, must already exist on your web server, otherwise the web server will tie itself up in a never ending loop.
The full path to the error page must be specified and it must be relative to the root path of that account (remember, placing a / at the front of a file name or directory specifies that it’s relative to the root directory).

To make a custom error page, simply create a page using your favorite webpage editor such as MS FrontPage or DreamWeaver. The page can contain anything you wish, such as images, links etc. Save the file as something easy to remember (such as 404errors.html)

I would then suggest you make a directory directly off your /public_html/ folder and call it “error” and place your error files in here.

This would now mean that your .htaccess command line would now look like:
ErrorDocument 404 /error/404errors.html

Now whenever a 404 error was generated on your site, your custom error page will be displayed, and keep your web visitors happy.

In the upcoming article, I will expand on this idea, and show you how to you can receive an email notification that a 404 error has occurred on your site. It will tell you what caused the error, and the offending page. Allowing you to try and fix all broken links leading to your site.

3 Things Search Engines Want To See

Search engine companies are constantly changing their algorithms to keep their results up-to-date. Optimization used to be the primary factor search engines used to determine a website’s ranking. However, it currently makes up only about 10% of their total algorithms. What carries the most weight with search engines now is linking.

Linking is the process of connecting to other sites that are relevant to your target market and that are highly ranked, and of getting them to connect to you. Google has, by far, the largest percentage of the search engine market, and they’re link-driven. The other search engines tend to follow Google’s lead, so the market is moving faster in that direction.

3 Tips for Building Smart LinksM

When choosing which sites you want to link to, keep in mind what the search engines want to see:

• Search engines are looking for organic results. According to Bruce Chapman of http://Linkateer.com, the number one search engine positioning firm on the web, “One of the things we try to do is make sure every single one of our links is pertinent to that particular type of business.” If your website sells makeup, a natural link would be to a site that gives makeup application techniques. An unnatural link would be to an actor’s fan club site. Says Chapman, “If it’s not natural, it’s going to be a problem.”

• Search engines are looking for consistent results. More links aren’t necessarily better. In fact, getting too many links at once, such as by joining a link farm, can actually hurt your rankings. Gaining 20,000 links this month and 13 links next month is going to trip their filters and, for all your work, you’re going to find yourself dropping in the rankings. With links, the search engines are more concerned with quality than quantity.

• Search engines are looking for one-way links. Reciprocal links are often just people exchanging links to mutually increase their link counts. The search engines have grown wise to this practice and adapted their algorithms. Says Chapman, “When one website wants to link to another website, that’s showing that the second website has got something of value… The one-way link is probably worth 20 times as much as a reciprocal link.”

Achieving Natural Results

It takes time to achieve good positioning in the search engines, especially with the more competitive keywords. Any attempts to trick the engines may work for a while; but they’re getting more and more sophisticated, and they’ll eventually catch up with you. Not only will your trick no longer work, but you may get blackballed or be penalized in your rankings. The best way to achieve high rankings is to give the search engines what they’re looking for—good fresh content and relevant links.

10 Costly Search Engine Mistakes to Avoid

If you have a website then you already know the importance of traffic. Traffic is to Internet marketing as location is to real estate. It's the only thing that really matters. If you cannot generate targeted visitors to your site, you will not make any sales.
Usually the owner or designer of the website is the person designated to drive traffic to the site. The chief ingredient in generating traffic is the search engine. Of coarse, you can use advertising, but it's going to cost you. Using the search engines to generate targeted (interested in your product) traffic is the least expensive method known.

Unfortunately, many website owners do not understand the importance of search engine visibility, which leads to traffic. They place more importance on producing a "pretty" website. Not that this is bad, but it is really secondary to search engine placement. Hopefully, the following list of common mistakes, made by many website owners, will help you generate more targeted traffic to your site...after all, isn't that what you want.

1. Not using keywords effectively.

This is probably one of the most critical area of site design. Choose the right keywords and potential customers will find your site. Use the wrong ones and your site will see little, if any, traffic.

2. Repeating the same keywords.

When you use the same keywords over and over again (called keyword stacking) the search engines may downgrade (or skip) the page or site.

3. Robbing pages from other websites.

How many times have you heard or read that "this is the Internet and it's ok" to steal icons and text from websites to use on your site. Don't do it. Its one thing to learn from others who have been there and another to outright copy their work. The search engines are very smart and usually detect page duplication. They may even prevent you from ever being listed by them.

4. Using keywords that are not related to your website.

Many unethical website owners try to gain search engine visibility by using keywords that have nothing at all to do with their website. They place unrelated keywords in a page (such as "sex", the name of a known celebrity, the hot search topic of the day, etc.) inside a meta tag for a page. The keyword doesn't have anything to do with the page topic. However, since the keyword is popular, they think this will boost their visibility. This technique is considered spam by the search engines and may cause the page (or sometimes the whole site) to be removed from the search engine listing.

5. Keyword stuffing.

Somewhat like keyword stacking listed above, this means to assign multiple keywords to the description of a graphic or layer that appears on your website by using the "alt=" HTML parameter. If the search engines find that this text does not really describe the graphic or layer it will be considered spam.

6. Relying on hidden text.

You might be inclined to think that if you cannot see it, it doesn't hurt. Wrong.... Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them invisible. For example, some unethical designers my set the keywords to the same color as the background of the web page; thereby, making it invisible.

7. Relying on tiny text.

This is another version of the item above (relying on hidden text). Do not try to hide your keywords or keyword phrases by making them tiny. Setting the text size of the keywords so small that it can barely be seen does this.

8. Assuming all search engines are the same.

Many people assume that each search engine plays by the same rules. This is not so. Each has their own rule base and is subject to change anytime they so desire. Make it a point to learn what each major search engine requires for high visibility.

9. Using free web hosting.

Do not use free web hosting if you are really serious about increasing site traffic via search engine visibility. Many times the search engines will eliminate content from these free hosts.

10. Forgetting to check for missing web page elements.

Make sure to check every page in your website for completeness, like missing links, graphics, etc. There are sites on the web that will do this for free.

This is just a few of the methods and techniques that you should avoid. Do not give in to the temptation that these methods will work for you. They will do more harm than good for your website.

Not only will you spend weeks of wasted effort, you may have your site banned from the search engines forever. Invest a little time to learn the proper techniques for increasing search engine visibility and your net traffic will increase.

Make Money Selling Products That You Didn’t Even Create

Make Money Selling Products That You Didn’t Even Create

There are many individuals who are misinformed when it comes to making money online.  Unfortunately, a large number of individuals believe that you have to be trained in a particular field or have special talents. The reality is that skills and training may increase your chances of finding a legitimate money making opportunity; however, they are not required.  All you need to do is find an opportunity that requires little or no work and then you could be on your way to making money.

An opportunity that requires little or now work; if you are wondering how this is possible you are not alone.  Most individuals are taught to beware of these business opportunities because most of them are scams. While you will find scams online, there real business opportunities out there that would not require you to put in long work hours. One of those business opportunities involves selling a product that isn’t even yours. You can do this by acquiring the private label resell rights for a particular product. These products are most commonly e-books, software programs, and content articles.

The first step in taking part in this amazing business opportunity is to find a private label product that currently has its resell rights available for sale. This can easily be done a number of different ways. Perhaps, the easiest way is to perform a standard internet search. If you are interested in purchasing the resell rights to an e-book, you will want to perform a standard internet search, using the words private label e-book resell rights. If you are looking to purchase content articles, software programs, or something else, you will need to replace the word e-book with what you are searching for. By performing this internet search, you should be provided with links to websites offering resell rights for sale.

An alternative to performing your own research is to seek recommendations from those that you know.  If you know of anyone who has participated in this money making opportunity, you may want to ask them for advice.  While product recommendations are good, it is still advised that you closely examine each product offer before making a final decision.  If you do not know anyone who has participated in this type of opportunity, you can easily speak to those that you do not know. What is nice about the internet is that it allows you to connect with a wide variety of different people. These people may be able to offer advice or inside tips when it comes to obtaining the resell rights to a particular private label product.

Once you have found an individual who is offering their product for sale, via private label resell rights, you will need to consider their product. You will want to make sure that it is not only a quality product, but one that you will be able to sell.  This is important because you will be buying the right to resell the product. Since you will be investing your own money into this business opportunity, you will need to make sure that you are successful. If you are absolutely sure that you have found a quality product that you can market and sell to the general public, you can go ahead and strike a deal with the product creator.

Although obtaining the resell rights to a product, such as an e-book, software program, or collection of content articles, will not require a large amount of work on your part, it is important to remember that you will have to do some work.  To effectively sell the product which you acquired the rights to, you will need to market your product to the general public. Of course, unless otherwise stated in your resell rights agreement, you should be market the product in anyway that you see fit.  In other words, this means that you should still be able to make money no matter how much or how little you want to work.

Private Resell Rights: What They Are and What It Means

Private Resell Rights:  What They Are and What It Means

Each day, a large number of individuals use the internet.  Many of those individuals are looking for ways to make money online.  The only problem with using the internet to research money making opportunities is that there are a large number of online scams. These scams many not only dash your homes of making money online, but they may also leave you broke. That is why it is important that you fully understand each online money making opportunity before investing or signing a contract.

As previously mentioned, a large number of individuals use the internet to search for money making ideas and opportunities. In fact, there are so many individuals doing this that there is a good chance that you are one of them. In your search, you may have come across an opportunity claiming that you can make money by reselling private label products. The good news about these opportunities is that, in most cases, they are a legitimate.  The bad news is that many of these offers rarely go into detail. This means that you may not even know what you are getting or what you are supposed to do to make money.

When it comes to making money online, there are many individuals who move on to the next opportunity when they do not fully understand how one works.  If you do this with private label reselling, you may be missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime.  Instead of moving on to the next money making opportunity, you are advised to learn as much as you can about private label resell rights. After you have familiarized yourself with this amazing opportunity, you may very well find that it is a great way to make money.

Private label resell products cover a wide variety of different things.  Online, you will find that most of these products include software programs, e-books, articles, and source codes.  These are products are popular because they are high in demand.  For instance, many webmasters use articles to increase the content on their website.  Software programs are increasing in popularity as more businesses make the decision to be unified, computer wise.  E-books are rapidly increasing in popularity, especially as more individuals are finding them cheaper than printed books. Source codes, similar to html codes, are essential to the development of online websites.

While e-books, software programs, and content articles are needed, as detailed above, there are many individuals who do not have the time or the necessary skills to develop their own programs or content.  Instead, they often hire professional assistance. The only problem with professional assistance is that it is often expensive. A professional writer or software developer can charge as much as they want for their services and many of them charge large amounts.  Instead, individuals and businesses, in need of software or content, look for cheaper alternatives.  One of those alternatives may involve purchasing a product from you.

Private label software programs, content articles, and e-books are often developed by experienced professionals. The only problem is that many of these individuals do not have the time or the experience needed to market their products to the public.  Without proper marketing, there is a good chance their product will never sell.  So, instead of marketing their products, private label product creators will then up and sell the rights to their product.  However, the money making opportunity is when you are granted resell rights. Resell rights mean that you can resell the products that you just purchased, often for any price that you want.

What does this mean for you? This means that, for a reasonable price, you should not only be able to purchase a software program, and e-book, or content articles, but you are also purchasing the rights to resell these products.  So, in a way, you will be making money without having to do any work.  Sound impossible doesn’t it?  Honestly, it is not.  As long as you are able to find a reliable and trustworthy software developer or writer to business with, you will be participating in a legitimate business opportunity.

If this opportunity sounds like something you would be interested in, you are advised to get searching. Online, you will find a number of these private label resell opportunities.  With a little bit of time and research you could find the perfect product and then you could be on your way to making money, all the while sitting from the comfort of your own home.

5 Steps To A Successful Internet Business

STEP 1. Find something you feel is a good business opportunity. You can scour the internet for all sorts of different business ideas and opportunities. Doing a search on any search engine with the keywords Work At Home, Business Opportunities, Home Based Business, Affiliate Programs, Make Money Online, etc., will produce 1000's of different search results. Affiliate programs are THE ABSOLUTE BEST business opportunities out there because the ONLY thing you need to do to run your internet business is to market your affiliate link. With a traditional business you must deal with inventory, storage, packing, shipping, complaints, returns, phone calls, emails, checks and credit cards just to name a few! Not so with affiliate programs, once someone has clicked on your affiliate link your only job is getting the next person to click on it. Sweet deal!

STEP 2. Get your own webpage. You want to put your internet business on a webpage of your own. A webpage is like a store front. It projects respect to your business and who you are. Think about it. Do you feel the same about buying from a vendor on the street as you do about buying from a person in a store? They’re both vendors, but the store gives you a certain feeling about the person you are buying from that a street vendor just can’t give you! Your webpage dose not have to be fancy. If you only have a brief description of what your webpage is about along with individual descriptions of your product or products people will respect that. If it is affiliate programs you have decided upon, simply put a BRIEF description of what is being offered along with your affiliate link. Do not disclose too much in your description because people might THINK they know what it is all about and not click on your link. You want to let your affiliate website do all the selling for you. These sites are professionally designed to maximize the number of people who buy or join so a brief description, just enough to spike their curiosity, is sufficient.

STEP 3. Get your own Blog and make one post a day. A Blog, short for, “Web Log,” is a great way to establish yourself as an authority figure on whatever topic you decide. As people return to read your daily articles, they will eventually come to view you as an authority on whatever your Blog is about. They will eventually develop confidence in what you are saying, and will begin to trust you. As a result some people will check out your webpage to see what you have to offer them, and people tend to buy more from people they know and trust. Their confidence in you will be an additional factor that will compel people to buy from you. There are many places online that will host and let you set up your Blog for free.

STEP 4. Put Cost-Per-Click(CPC) advertising such as Google AdSense on your website. Having Cost-Per-Click advertising on your website is a way to earn additional income that can be VERY substantial. Most people who visit your website will not buy from you. If people are going to leave your website, wouldn’t you rather them leave through a link on your website that will pay you money every time someone clicks on it? Google makes putting their AdSense on your website E-A-S-Y! The ads are relevant to the content of your website. Google can even put its AdSense on your Blog as we’ll.

STEP 5. Write and submit articles to article submission sites. This is the most important advice you need to know. This is how you will get FREE advertising! People are searching the internet for free information. When you submit your articles online, the search engines will eventually find them and will spider every word. When people do a search using keywords or phrases that are in your articles, they will turn up in the search results, so be sure to insert highly searched for keywords and phrases into your articles! You will need to include at the bottom of all your articles your bio. Your bio will contain a brief description about who you are along with a link to your website. It might read for instance [ John Doe is the owner of yoursite.com. John helps people to work at home using various business opportunities that include affiliate programs. If you desire your own home based business visit http://www.yoursite.com] The more articles you write and submit, the higher the chances are of your articles keywords and phrases showing up on search results. The more links you have pointing back to your website, the higher your websites page rank with the search engines will be, meaning the higher up on the search results will your article turn up, so don’t stop writing and submitting articles! I do want to stress however, quality over quantity. Take your time and check your spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, etc. No one will take what you have to say seriously if you don’t write correctly.

So there you have it! Having a successful internet business is simply a matter of understanding how things work, and applying that knowledge. It dose not take any special skill or any great intelligence.  If you follow these five steps, you cannot fail. The most important thing, as with anything in life, is persistence. Continue following steps three and five and watch your internet business grow!
